The floods of 2024 were the largest in the last three decades, exceeding in size the disasters that occurred in 2012 and 2017. These natural disasters caused serious damage to the republic, forcing the evacuation of about 100,000 people.
In the conditions of such devastating floods, the most important task was to ensure the reliability and safety of the infrastructure of the regions affected by the disaster. In this context, KAP Logistics LLP has actively joined the restoration work, participating in strengthening infrastructure and increasing resilience to natural threats.
One of the company's significant steps was its participation in a project to strengthen a dam along a technological highway in the village of Zhuantobe, located in the Sozak district of the Turkestan region. The event was held jointly with the regional akimat in order to improve flood protection, as well as prevent possible flooding during the spring snowmelt and heavy rains.
The dam strengthening project is aimed at creating sustainable protection for both local residents and transport and logistics infrastructure facilities. This is especially important in the context of regular natural threats, when the possibility of damage to the dam can lead to devastating consequences for the region.
As part of the work carried out, various scenarios were carefully worked out, including emergency measures to stabilize the dam and prevent its destruction. This project is a significant step in ensuring the safety of the population and infrastructure, as well as an important component in maintaining the stable operation of all systems in the region. KAP Logistics LLP continues to actively cooperate with local authorities, investing resources in the development and protection of the region's infrastructure. The company attaches great importance to creating reliable conditions for the functioning of logistics chains, ensuring not only the safety of the public, but also the efficient operation of the transport system.
The infrastructure strengthening work carried out as part of the project in the village of Zhuantobe underlines the company's commitment to improving the region's resilience in the face of natural disasters and its willingness to provide support in critical situations.
