In his Message to the people of Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared 2025 the Year of Working Professions. This is an important step aimed at reforming the system of technical and vocational education, as well as at increasing the prestige of working professions in society.
"I declare 2025 the Year of Working Professions. During this time, the reform of the system of technical and vocational education will have to be carried out. This year will also promote the ideas of hard work and professionalism in society," the President stressed.
One of those who actively supported the initiative was KAP Logistics LLP, one of the leading companies in its industry. The company employs specialists from 40 different working professions, which makes it the largest employer in the field of logistics. In response to the call of the President, KAP Logistics relies on the popularization of technical and working specialties among young people.
As part of the support for the Year of Working Professions, the management of KAP Logistics LLP held meetings with students of College No. 1 in the village of Suzak and SHIAK College in the village of Shieli.
The students found out:
• Which professions are in demand in logistics?
• What are the career prospects for young professionals?,
• What are the requirements for specialists and what skills are important for success.
The youth showed great interest — they asked questions about the technical aspects of work, working conditions, and internship opportunities. This shows that students consciously approach the choice of a future profession and strive for development.
KAP Logistics is confident that such initiatives help not only to increase the prestige of working professions, but also to strengthen the link between business and educational institutions.
How is this useful?
• Young professionals receive information about real career opportunities.
• Colleges better understand the demands of the labor market and can adapt training programs.
• Companies get the opportunity to train personnel for their industry.
Working professions are the foundation of the economy. In addition, such events help young people to see in them a perspective and motivation for professional growth.
