Eldar Nikhanov was born in 1985 and is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Eldar Nikhanov graduated from the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Institute of Physics and Technology with a degree in Safety and Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Materials, as well as the National Research Nuclear University "Moscow Institute of Engineering and Physics" with a degree in Safe Handling of Nuclear Materials.

He started his career in 2011 at JSC NAC Kazatomprom, held various positions, including specialist, manager, chief manager, head of Department, Chief expert of the Security Department (Department of Physical and Nuclear Safety).

Currently, he is the Director of the Security Department of JSC NAC Kazatomprom.
