The head of the national nuclear company Askar Zhumagaliyev had a meeting with alumni who graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI), the leading Russian university, where qualified specialists for the nuclear industry are trained..
Tansholpan Ahmadiyeva was educated in MEPhI on the specialty "Nuclear Reactors and Materials". The practice was held at the Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology of Kurchatov city. Tansholpan received an invitation from JV Inkai LLP to the position of engineer for radiation safety.
Kazakhstan has all the prerequisites for creating a full nuclear fuel cycle. I’m grateful to Kazatomprom for education, for the opportunity to realize my knowledge in practice, - Tansholpan said.
Beksultan Sagyndyk, a graduate of the Automation Department of MEPhI, is also ready to start working at one of Kazatomprom's enterprises. His specialty - automation of electrophysical installations - is one of the actual directions in the work of Kazatomprom enterprises. Projects on automation are the basis for the introduction of the elements of "Industry 4.0" in the nuclear industry.
- I worked on the development of algorithms for calculation in automated control systems of technological processes in my thesis. This is a very important direction for today that can bring production to a qualitatively new level. I think I will do this at the Ulba Metallurgical Plant, - Beksultan has shared his plans.
At the meeting, the Head of Kazatomprom Askar Zhumagaliyev congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of the university and expressed confidence that the young specialists will give a new impetus to the development of the company and the uranium industry as a whole.

All of the twelve physics engineers participated on the meeting were employed in subsidiaries and in the central office of the company.
In order to train the specialists Kazatomprom’s enterprises cooperate with 25 universities and 11 colleges in Kazakhstan and the near abroad. At present, 320 students study at the expense of companies' funds in the specialties and professions that are profiled for the industry and the region, 293 of which study in universities and 27 in colleges. The company pays students a scholarship, tuition, dormitory accommodation and insurance. Students undergo practical training in production, where each student is assigned a mentor from among the experienced employees of enterprises.
